ADDESTRAMENTO NOTTURNO IN NORVEGIA PER I PILOTI SVIZZERI
Dal 9 Novembre al 4 Dicembre le Forze Aeree Svizzere si addestrano al volo notturno con un massimo di 8 F/A-18 a Oerland (Norvegia).
Si utilizzano gli ampi spazi sopra il Mare del Nord poiché in Svizzera, vista l’elevata densità abitativa, l’addestramento è possibile soltanto in misura limitata.

Tale esercitazione, denominata Nightway, serve principalmente a preparare i piloti svizzeri alla protezione del paese durante il World Economic Forum (WEF) di Davos e a permettere loro di qualificarsi per i voli notturni richiesti in tale occasione.
L’Aeronautica Svizzera dispone ad oggi di 31 F-18 dei 34 acquistati (26 F/A-18C ed 8 F/A-18D).

From November 9 to December 4, the Swiss Air Force pilots have a training in the night flight with a maximum of 8 F / A-18 in Oerland (Norway).
Flights take place in the wide spaces above the North Sea because in Switzerland, given the high population density, the workout is possible only at certain times.
This exercise, called Nightway, is designed to prepare Swiss pilots to protection the country during the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos and to qualify them for night flights in demand during the period of the conference.
